Many events and activities are being discussed and planned. We will keep the information of these up to date as soon as details are confirmed and agreed.

Whilst the hope4herefordshire Steering Group will be trying to organise some of the county-wide events, what happens in your specific town, village or community is up to you.

Below is an idea of what is already happening and what is being discussed.

We are relying on you to inform us as to what is happening in your community. Let us know at:

events@hope4herefordshire.org.uk

We can then put the details online so that others can see what is being planned in your area.

God has provided us with a unique opportunity over these 4 days to witness to the people of Herefordshire about the Love He has for them. This is a chance to build upon the fantastic foundations built over many years where the gap between the Church, and those outside, has been bridged. These events will allow us, the one united Church in Herefordshire, to go to those who need His love, in a loveless society.

Timetable:

9th October
Hope Explored & Flavours of Hereford Project Planning Meeting at Hope City Church 7.30pm

(More Project Planning Meetings will be held but dates will be given nearer the time)

25th & 26th October
Flavours of Hereford Food Festival  All day at the Hereford Racecourse

25th October
Evening Youth Event at the Racecourse, live Band etc.

27th & 28th October
Hope Explored! Suppers at the Town Hall Hereford, 7.30pm

Please make a note of these dates, and we would love your involvement, however small or big!

Following the Hope Explored! suppers, we shall be looking to run the 6 Week Start Course from week commencing 3rd November through to week commencing 8th December.

Therefore, we shall need churches to provide Course leaders and venues etc to facilitate folks they bring to the suppers.

Also, from week commencing 12th January 2009, we shall be looking to run a series of Alpha Courses and the same applies in terms of leaders and training will be provided on request.
